These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Academy Pro platform (“Platform”) as a player, parent, or guardian. The Platform is provided by Elev8 Studios Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us”), a company incorporated in the Republic of Maldives, and is accessible via web browser and as mobile applications for iOS and Android.

By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are registering on behalf of a minor, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of that minor.

Note: If you are a Sports Academy, separate Terms and Conditions apply. Please refer to the Academy Terms.

1. The Academy Pro Platform

Academy Pro is a sports management platform that connects players with their sports academies. It enables you to manage your sporting profile, view and track your activity across academies, manage payments, and build a lifelong verified sporting record.

The Platform is available via the web at academypro.net, and as mobile applications on iOS and Android. All Terms apply equally across all access points.

2. Your Account

2.1. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep it updated.

2.2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

2.3. You agree to notify Academy Pro immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at hello@academypro.net.

2.4. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. If you are registering a minor, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian and have authority to agree to these Terms on their behalf.

3. Your Data & Your Rights

3.1. You own your data. Your profile, activity records, and sporting history belong to you. We do not claim ownership of your data and will never sell or rent it to third parties.

3.2. User-centric platform. Your identity and profile exist independently on the Platform - not as a record belonging to any academy. Your sporting history is yours and travels with you.

3.3. Relationship-scoped access. An academy can only see data it recorded about you while you are an active member of that academy. When you leave, they lose access. No other academy can ever see another academy's records about you.

3.4. Full visibility. You always have full access to all data in your profile, across all academies you have ever been a member of, at all times.

3.5. Your sporting record. Your profile is a cumulative, lifelong sporting record. You may export it at any time in CSV or JSON format, and use it to present your history to clubs, selectors, or other organisations.

3.6. No selective deletion. Individual activity records (attendance, ratings, performance notes) cannot be selectively deleted by you or by any academy. This preserves the integrity of your sporting history.

3.7. Account deletion. You may permanently delete your entire account at any time. This is the only way activity data is removed from the Platform. Deletion is permanent and irreversible - all data including records entered by any academy will be removed within 30 days.

3.8. Academies cannot delete your data. No academy has the ability to delete, modify, or suppress your activity records. If an academy leaves the Platform, their records about you remain intact on your profile, attributed to them by name.

3.9. Our full data practices are described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

4. Minors

4.1. For users who are minors (under 18), the parent or guardian registered on the Platform holds all data rights on behalf of the minor, including the right to export or delete the account.

4.2. Academies are responsible for obtaining parental or guardian consent before registering a minor. By registering a minor, the academy represents that such consent has been obtained.

4.3. We apply heightened data protection to minor accounts, including no behavioural advertising or profiling, and strict access controls.

5. Payments

5.1. Academy Pro facilitates payments from you to sports academies for their services. We are a payment facilitator, not the direct recipient of payments for coaching or classes.

5.2. All payment transactions are handled by a third-party payment gateway. Your payments are subject to the terms of that provider.

5.3. Refund requests for academy services must be directed to the academy directly. Academy Pro is not responsible for issuing refunds for services provided by academies, and refund eligibility is subject to each academy's own refund policy.

6. Acceptable Use

6.1. You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes.

6.2. You must not:

• Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or infringing;
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or other users' accounts;
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers without our written permission.

7. Intellectual Property

The Academy Pro Platform - including its software, design, features, and content (excluding your personal data) - is owned by Elev8 Studios Pvt Ltd and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Platform.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

8.1. Service “As Is”: The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or entirely secure.

8.2. Academy Services: Academy Pro is a management platform. We are not responsible for the quality of coaching, facilities, safety protocols, or any other services provided by sports academies. Your relationship with your academy is separate from your agreement with Academy Pro.

8.3. Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by Maldivian law, Academy Pro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or reputational harm, arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amounts paid by you to Academy Pro in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

8.4. Parental Consent: Participating academies are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining verifiable parental or guardian consent before registering minors. Academy Pro shall not be held liable for any failure by an academy to secure such consent.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Academy Pro, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

10. Termination

10.1. You may stop using the Platform at any time by deleting your account (see clause 3.7).

10.2. We may suspend or terminate your access at our discretion, without prior notice, for breach of these Terms or any other reason. In such cases, we will provide notice where reasonably practicable.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

12.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives.

12.2. Disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. If unsuccessful within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Maldives.
